Before reporting a bin as full, please check our current delays.
On Friday 26 April, there are some delays to communal collections that may mean your bins are fuller than normal, but we are aware of these and will empty them as soon as we can:
- mixed recycling route delayed today in the Grange, Liberton, Gilmerton and Burdiehouse
If your nearest bin is full please use another one nearby or store your waste until we can empty your bins.mDon’t leave any waste beside the bins.
Our recycling centres are open if you have lots of extra waste and would like to take it to one, it's quick and easy to book an appointment.
You can help avoid delays and missed bins by not parking in front of bins as it means we can't empty them and blocking access to streets for our bin trucks.
You don't have to use myaccount, but if you want to keep track of your request, you'll need to register with mygovscot myaccount.
Report a full or overflowing communal household waste bin
You can use this form to report a full or overflowing communal household waste bin that is shared between several homes.
Please do not use this form to report overflowing litter bins, or bulky waste such as a mattress or sofa dumped beside bins because this is fly-tipping.
