Lease conditions

1. The group/person using the room(s) will:

• Make good any breakages of furniture, fittings, equipment or fabric of the building damaged during the period of the room hire
• Ensure that no items are pinned or stuck to the walls
• Leave premises in a clean and tidy condition ie put furniture and equipment back as they were found, put all rubbish in the bins provided
• Vacate premises at the allocated time.

2. The contact person is responsible for advising their group of fire procedures and informing The Risk Factory staff if anyone requires assistance in the event of an evacuation.

3. The Risk Factory reserves the right to refuse bookings at its own discretion.

4. The Risk Factory accepts no liability for damage or loss of property brought into the premises.

5. Cancellation policy

• If the Seminar Room/Whole Centre is cancelled less than three weeks prior to the event, a cancellation fee of 50% is applicable. If cancelled less than 5 working days prior to the event, the full hire fee is applicable.
• If Meeting Room 1 is cancelled less than two weeks prior to the event, a cancellation fee of 50% is applicable. If cancelled less than 24 hours prior to the event, the full hire is applicable.
• If Meeting Room 2 is cancelled 24 hours prior to the event, a cancellation charge may be applied.

6. The Risk Factory reserves the right to cancel bookings at short notice should a situation arise that is outwith our control. If this happens we will use all reasonable efforts to offer you an alternative date. We cannot accept responsibility if we cannot provide facilities or services because of something which is beyond our control.

7. The Risk Factory is normally open Monday to Friday from 9.00am until 5.00pm. If your event requires the building to be open before 9.00am, after 5.00pm, or at weekends, additional costs may apply.

8. No animals or pets of any kind, except assistance dogs, are allowed on The Risk Factory premises.

9. The Risk Factory has a no smoking policy and smoking is not permitted on the premises or within the grounds.

10. If you plan to show a video or play music during your hire you are responsible for purchasing your own Public Performance License and Performing Right Society License. The Risk Factory takes no responsibility for music played without a license.
