Strike action

Planned strike action suspended

Following negotiations between COSLA, Trade Unions and the Scottish Government, the strike action planned to start on 14 August has been suspended while unions ask their members to vote on accepting or rejecting the most recent national pay offer.

As a result, bin collections and street cleansing services will continue to run as normal.

If you have a kerbside collection, please put your bins out on your scheduled day. Bookings for household bulky waste items and visits to a household waste recycling centre from 14 August have reopened.
