The public are welcome to attend meetings of the Council and its committees and sub-committees, except where confidential business is being discussed.
To attend meetings at the City Chambers, you do not need to arrange this in advance. Go straight to reception where staff will explain where to go.
To speak at a committee meeting, you need to request this in advance by contacting
committee.services@edinburgh.gov.uk

The full Council meets in the Main Council chamber in the City Chambers. When meetings are held in other venues, this will be shown on the public notice and on the front page of the agenda.
