- 'Hypnotism' includes hypnotism, mesmerism and any similar act or process. To stage a performance of hypnotism in theatres, places of public amusement or public entertainment: If you already have a Theatre or Public Entertainment licence, you must get permission to carry out a hypnotism performance; if the performance is to take place in any other premises you need to obtain the consent of the Council.

an additional 20% 'late fee' charge is payable for any temporary licence application received within 28 days of the date the licence is due to start.
