Please Provide Recycling Bins to Council Houses with Communal Bins - Petitions (Invalid)

I live in the Southhouse area in Edinburgh. Typically, Council-owned housing estates like mine have communal bins, but lack recycling bins.
Recycling household waste is important to protecting the environment, and not having access to communal recycling bins makes it difficult for residents to recycle their waste.
If recycling bins are more available, it will encourage residents to make use of them, and will enable residents of Council properties who cannot easily travel to a recycling centre to recycle their refuse.
Petition status
Invalid in terms of paragraph 1 (3) of our petitions criteria as it relates to a decision of the Council or a committee within the previous six month period.
