Save Duncan Place Resource Centre - Petitions (Invalid)
Petition details
We, the users and friends of Duncan Place Resource Centre in Leith, demand that the City of Edinburgh Council halt their decision to demolish Duncan Place Resource Centre (4 Duncan Place, Leith, EH6 8HW) and allow the users group Management Committee time to make proposals and to explore other, less destructive options for the well-attended centre. We also demand that CEC commit that community provision WILL be maintained at the 4 Duncan Place, Leith, EH6 8HW and that such community provision matches or exceeds what is already available at the current facility.
Petition status
Invalid in terms of 1.1 and 1.3 of our petitions criteria as it relates to: planning, licensing or other matters where objections and appeals against decisions are dealt with by another process, and a decision of the Council or a committee within the previous six month period.
