This Fire Safety Policy is designed to protect the health, safety and welfare of all employees, service users and others. It is applicable to the management of fire safety where the council has direct responsibilities as owners, occupiers, or managers of both domestic and non-domestic premises, as appropriate. It is applicable across all sites and activities, whether temporary or permanent, and should be read in conjunction with the Council Health and Safety Policy and supporting Council fire safety guidance.
