Mondays: - Duke of Edinburgh 6 to 7:30pm: The Duke of Edinburgh's Award (DofE) helps young people to build essential life skills and confidence and encourages them to take on new challenges and follow their passions. The library will be supporting the DofE in partnership with Community Learning and Development colleagues for this academic year to provide access to DofE in an area of the city that currently does not have access. Ages 12 and up. Tuesdays: - Library Link, fortnightly 11am: A free bus service for people who have difficulty getting to the library. Come and choose your books and enjoy a cup of tea and a chat; - Lego Club, Tuesdays 4 to 5pm: An hour of creative building with LEGO blocks.
Wednesdays:
- Manga Club 5:30pm: Different activities each week include crafts, reading, movies and karaoke. For ages 12 and up;
- Board Games Club, alternate Wednesdays 2 to 4pm;
- Knit and Natter, alternate Wednesdays 2 to 4pm.
Fridays:
- Coffee morning at 11am;
- Language Cafe: Are you a multilingual individual who would like the opportunity to meet other people from different cultural backgrounds in an informal English-speaking environment? If, so come along to the Language Cafe!
Second Friday of every month, 10.30 to 11.30am, open to all.
Fourth Friday of every month, 10.30 to 11.30am, women only.
Saturdays:
- Arts and Crafts 2pm: An opportunity for families to have fun and craft to their hearts content. Prepare to get messy! For children of all ages.
