Box opening and count hall
The box opening, count and declarations will take place in the Highland Hall of the Royal Highland Centre, Ingliston. The ballot papers will be taken out of boxes, unfolded and sorted so they are all face up and the same orientation.
Candidate briefing areas
There is a briefing area for candidates and election agents where the provisional results will be shared confidentially before any public declaration.
Postal vote processing
This will take place on the upper level of the Highland Hall.
From the entrance on the right hand side, from left to right are the count tables for
- East and Musselburgh
- South
- West
At the rear of the hall, from left to right are the count tables for
- South west
- North and Leith
