This year’s Summer Reading Challenge is Marvellous Makers, with the aim to inspire children to feed their imagination over the summer and to create and try new things.
We invite children aged 4 to 11 to take up the challenge of reading six books during the summer holidays. Children can register to take part at any of our libraries.
You can include library ebooks and audiobooks and we have a special Summer Reading Challenge collection available via Libby. Complete all six books to receive the challenge prizes including a finisher's medal and certificate.
The Summer Reading Challenge launches on Saturday 29 June and will finish on Saturday 31 August.
Marvellous Makers is presented by The Reading Agency and delivered in partnership with Edinburgh Libraries.
