Consultation and engagement opportunities

Your views matter

Edinburgh’s Local Housing Strategy (LHS) will cover all tenures and types of housing and will set out the priorities for delivering housing and related services. It is a statutory requirement that we produce a Local Housing Strategy every five years. With the fastest growing population in Scotland and facing unprecedented challenges, it has never been more important to have a strong housing strategy that reflects the views of those living in the city. We would like to know what you think about housing in Edinburgh.

An initial on-line consultation survey was held for six weeks, closing on 14th June 2024. We received 345 responses. These included in-depth comments across a range of issues. Feedback on the survey is available.

Following on from the initial on-line survey, the following workshops are available for you to feed in further views along with an on-line survey.
