  • Brunstane Primary School to close as a precaution

    An action plan will be drawn up to decide what remedial work is needed so the school can reopen as soon as possible.... The nursery is also affected with plans in place for children to attend Moffat Early Years Campus.... We will keep parents/carers updated as our plans develop and will do everything we can to keep disruption to a minimum.

    This has been done recently on other projects, such as Circulation Plan and City Mobility Plan, and is recommended as part of the Council’s approach to consultation on large projects.... As well as this, we are engaging with Council colleagues in biodiversity, ecology planning, active travel, public transport, parks and greenspaces to allow them to highlight to their networks that the consultation is taking place and to encourage participation.... We will also be implementing a communications plan to highlight the consultation and encourage feedback.
