Notification of Utility Diversion Works on Antigua Street

UPDATE: Antigua Street utility diversion works have been extended for two weeks due to further works in the area.  Works are expected to be complete week commencing Monday 9 August. As part of the works being undertaken on the Trams to Newhaven Project and following on from the site investigation works in April 2021 we will be carrying out utility diversion works within the footpath and parking/loading areas at Antigua Street.

What happens now?

Site set up will commence at Antigua Street with parking and loading restrictions in place to facilitate the works.  There will also be adjustments to the traffic lane north bound at London Road roundabout with no access to Gayfield Square from Leith Walk, egress will be from the north exit only.

When are we doing it?

Works are expected to commence on Monday 7 June 2021 for approximately seven weeks.
