Tell us a bit about your business?
Capital Cartridges is a family run business which has had a retail shop on Elm Row since 2004.
We specialise in all printing consumables such as genuine and refilled ink and toner cartridges, printing/photocopying/scanning and having also recently expanded into key cutting and being a DPD Parcel drop off point.
What makes your business unique?
Printers and cartridges can often be a bit of a minefield so with almost 20 years of experience we have a wide knowledge of almost any cartridge that is available as manufacturers release more and more models. We also keep stock of older cartridges that can become more problematic to source. As well as selling genuine manufacturers cartridges we also stock compatible cartridges - a much cheaper alternative that work just as well while also often having more ink/toner.
We provide free same day delivery to all our business customers in the city and we are currently expanding this to non-business customers too.
We really like to have the customers best interests at the forefront and will try guide them in the best direction for their printing needs.
Describe your typical working day.
It starts by checking any emails and orders that may have come through during the evening or early morning and getting these ready for delivery later in the day. An inventory of any DPD parcels needs to be taken so we are prepared for any new parcels coming in. As we are a retail business no two days are the same so it’s a case of adapting to the current situation in order to meet our customers’ needs and requirements.
