Localised works at York Place

Following the completion of works at York Place we are now required to carry out further localised works to remove a pedestrian crossing, construct new kerb lines and remove any conflicting road markings. These works will commence from Tuesday 26 April 2022 and will be in place for approximately seven working days.

To accommodate these works we are required to establish small, localised sites on York Place. Please refer to the diagram below.

Pedestrian and vehicle access will remain place.  However, footways widths will be reduced but access will be maintained for members of the public, residents, and local shop owners.

During the time that the above works are being undertaken, all efforts will be made to minimise disruption and inconvenience to residents and businesses as much as possible.
