Taskforce (Finishing & Handling) are recruiting for a print finisher, previous experience within the print industry is not essential as we can provide training. This role would appeal to someone looking to develop their skills with no two days the same.

Environment: 

The ideal applicant should be willing to work as part of a team within a busy production environment. 

What might a day in this role look like?

Working in the production area, you will be required to assist with various folding and binding machines (loading/unloading and packing), you will also work as part of the hand-finishing team carrying out tasks that machines can’t.

A line manager will assign tasks accordingly throughout the day, and they will ensure that you understand what is required. They will provide assistance as required and answer any questions that arise.

What will I learn?

• The suitable candidate will learn how to assist on various machines 
• Learn to operate smaller machinery
• Any training required will be provided
• We always encourage staff to develop their skills 

What qualifications/skills are required?

• Experience in print finishing is not essential as training will be provided
• Good attention to detail and quality control.
• Ability to work efficiently and meet tight deadlines.
• Good stamina and dexterity for handling printed material.
• H&S awareness at all times
