Awards made in 2024 to 2025

Round 1

  • Queensferry and District Sea Cadets: Awarded £1000 to purchase mountain bikes, helmets and other biking equipment. 
  • LIFT at Muirhouse Millenium Centre: Awarded £1398 for transport and ticket costs to a safari park summer trip for families from Muirhouse. 
  • 30th Craigalmond Scouts: Awarded £1000 to purchase tents for the Kandersteg Permanent Mini Jamboree in Switzerland. 
  • Capital Carers: Awarded £1031 to fund games and play materials for young carers provision in schools. 
  • Art Buds Collective Ltd: Awarded £1665 towards costs for running one week of outdoor summer holiday provision for/with children from Muirhouse. 
  • Fantanka: Awarded £2000 for an intergenerational project related to sexual and reproductive rights targeting women from the African community. 
  • Kirkliston Community Conservation Volunteers: Awarded £750 to enable replacement of a local bench and plaque. 

Round 2 

  • Edinburgh Agroecology Coop: Awarded £1342.36 for installation of a double door metal shed which will be used as a kit store for newly purchased community gardening equipment and clothing. 
  • Edinburgh Northwest Kirk: Awarded £500 for two holiday sessions over 1.5 days for children from the parish area covered by Northwest Kirk. 
  • Muirhouse Youth Development Group: Awarded £1556.25 for Christmas drop-in sessions and outings, including crafts, party activities, Santa visit and a trip to the pantomime. 
  • 56th Edinburgh Company - The Boys Brigade: Awarded £455.50 to cover cost of a trip to the theatre for members of the 56th Edinburgh Boys Brigade. 
  • The Teapot Trust: Awarded £3300 for a block of 8-12 art therapy sessions for 10 children with long term health conditions (and their families) at North Edinburgh Arts.
