Community Steering group and Community Action plan
The NEAT Community Steering group
- have finalised the Community Action plan to encourage more walking, wheeling and cycling in and around North Edinburgh
- held a walking, wheeling and cycling event in September 2021, and will hold more events and activities in the future
- is keen to involve more local people in delivering the plan and is inviting anyone interested to join the group, either as a representative of a local group, or as an individual with a keen interest in making our public places accessible and pleasant for everyone in the community to enjoy actively
- will be taking forward the action plan, coordinating, and supporting various activities across North Edinburgh.
Get involved
As a local organisation:
- Join the NEAT Community Steering group as an organisational representative
- Notify the NEAT Community Steering group of events / activities you are organising
- Share events and activities happening across North Edinburgh
As a member of our community:
- Join the NEAT Community Steering group as a community representative
- Volunteer to become a walk / wheel / cycle ride leader, or support other activities
- Organise a local event
- Tell us what activities would support or encourage you to get out actively
