Travelling Safely programme
In response to Covid-19, we introduced Spaces for People to give people more space on the pavement and roads to make walking, cycling and wheeling safer. Temporary segregated cycleways were put in place on Pennywell Road, Muirhouse / Silverknowes Parkway and Ferry Road.
These measures will be taken forward using Experimental Traffic Regulation Orders (ETROs) as part of the Travelling Safely programme.
