Sleep

Bereavement

Cruse Scotland and Child Bereavement UK both offer support to young people who have experienced the death of someone in their lives. Cruse Scotland also has a website for Children and Young People called Hope Again.

The Cruse Scotland support line number is 0808 802 6161.

The Child Bereavement UK support line number is 0800 02 888 40.

Conflict 

If you are a young person experiencing conflict at home the Scottish Centre for Conflict Resolution Webpages is a great source of advice and tips. There are quiz's, advice pages and short films to support you understand conflict and how to deal with it.

In their Learning Zone you will find videos and graphics which will help you to understand conflict, how and why you respond the way you do and how relationships can improve. It covers four modules: My Brain, My Emotions, My Wellbeing and Our Relationships. There is a downloadable workbook that can be used alongside each of the topics.  

Bullying

Respect me has advice on dealing with bullying. You can also seek advice and support from Childline call 0800 1111.

Worries about eating

If you are worried about difficulties related to eating or are concerned about someone you know Beat offer advice and support on all aspects of eating disorders. Beat’s dedicated Helpline for Scotland is also available 7 days a week on 0808 801 0432 or via email.
