Registrations for 2023 / 2024 garden waste collections are now closed
Registrations for 2023 / 2024 are now closed, but registration for the 2024 / 2025 year will open on 24 July 2024.
The 2023 / 2024 service year runs from 6 November 2023 to 4 November 2024. The 2024 / 2025 year will run from 5 November 2024 until 24 November 2025.
You can choose to register for an annual direct debit to automatically renew your subscription each year. The first payment will be taken within seven days of you registering and future payments will be taken on or shortly after 1 August each year.
You don't have to use myaccount, but if you want to keep track of your subscription, you'll need to sign in or register with mygovscot myaccount. If you're not signed in at the time you register we are unable to add this to your account later.

When you get to the pages to enter your direct debit details you'll have 10 minutes to complete the form so make sure you have your account and sort code details ready.
Annual direct debit payments will continue until you cancel your subscription or we have been unable to take payment. Find out how to easily cancel your direct debit. You can still register for one collection year with a single card payment, but you'll then need to register annually to continue receiving the service in future years.
If you move house you can transfer your permit.
Tenement addresses
If you stay in a traditional tenement, with the numbering system like 1F1, 1F2, and so on, this is the format used when registering. The flat numbers follow the flow of the staircase for each floor. For example, 3F2 should be interpreted as 3rd floor, flat 2, which is the second flat from the stair.
