School closure days
Within the leave year, the balance of days beyond the working year and the annual leave entitlement, excluding Saturdays and Sundays, is days of school closure. The placement of the 40 days’ annual leave within the school holiday periods is determined by the Council’s Local Negotiating Committee for Teachers (LNCT).

All leave calculations will be based on the academic year, in accordance with the LNCT agreement.
