Next stages of the project
The final project design is expected to be finalised by the end of 2024. Throughout this phase we will keep in touch with you through
- updates on this website with updated designs
- Invitations to take part in online webinars/meeting and/or on-site discussion to be presented with progress and ongoing design works
- Newsletter style email update

Summary of project stages
- Stage 3 – Developed Design. This stage is where we develop the preferred design into a fully fleshed out design, which was completed summer 2024
- Stage 4 – Detailed Design. This stage will develop the design ready for construction and will include advertisement of traffic orders and redetermination orders
- Stage 5 – Construction. We expect construction to start in autumn 2025 following appointment of construction company and completed legal processes.
