Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust – Out and about 

Edinburgh & Lothians Greenspace Trust focuses on getting individuals, communities and groups engaging in their outdoor space through lots of different avenues to help improve their health and wellbeing. They run groups including walking groups, conservation groups, Nordic walking, and Thai chi groups.

Out and About – Nature and Wellbeing in St Katherine’s Park

Get together with others to enjoy a variety of outdoor activities in St Katherine’s Park and surrounding greenspaces. Activities are based on the interests of the group and could include anything from tree maintenance to bird watching. There is always an option to do low-impact activities, or to pop along for some fresh air, a cuppa and company – without pressure to do any activities. The group meets outside Liberton Medical Group every second Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm at

Out and About – Community Gardening at Inch Nursery 

Join a friendly group to help grow vegetables for distribution in local food pantries. No gardening experience is needed – full guidance and all equipment will be given! We always have a friendly cuppa and a chat too. The group runs on Wednesdays from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm at

Out and About - Ambling adventures Holyrood walking group

Ambling Adventures is a free group activity that meets for a walk in Holyrood Park to enjoy nature. It gives the option to have a friendly free cuppa and chat at the end. It is free and suitable for all. The group meets on Thursdays from 10:30 am to 12 pm outside the Scottish Parliament, opposite King’s Gallery at

Bridgend Farmhouse 

Bridgend Farmhouse runs many cultural, craft and activity sessions for adults such as on Wednesdays - a walking group at 10 am, a lady's wellbeing group, an arts and crafts session from 2 pm to 4 pm, and woodcraft from 5.30 pm to 8.30 pm. Gardening and cooking sessions are also available. Donations for some groups are welcome. Sessions are free and run at
